Privacy Policy

Task Loop does not collect your personal data. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising. Your checklists are stored on your device and are not sent to us, because there is no server to send them to.
What we collect
Nothing. We operate no servers, no accounts and no analytics. We receive no information about you or your use of the app, and we cannot see your checklists.
What the app stores on your device
- Your checklists, the items in them, and the record of each time you run one.
- The name you enter during setup, and your appearance preference.
- Any reminder you configure, including the days, the time, and the coordinates and radius of a place you pin.
All of this is held in the app's own storage on your device. It is included in your device backup, so restoring a backup to a new device brings it with you. Your backup is governed by Apple's terms, not ours.
Location
If you set a location reminder, the app asks for the "Always" location permission. Your location is compared against the places you have pinned on the device itself, by the operating system, so that a reminder can be delivered when you arrive or leave. Your location is never sent to us and is never stored anywhere outside your device.
You can withdraw this permission at any time in iOS Settings. Location reminders will stop working; everything else in the app continues to work.
Apple services the app uses
Two features are provided by Apple's Maps framework, built into iOS:
- Searching for a place by name. The text you type is sent to Apple to return matching places.
- The map preview shown beside a pinned place, which loads map imagery from Apple.
These requests go to Apple, not to us, and are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive nothing from them. If you never use place search and never pin a location, the app makes no network requests at all.
What we do not do
- We do not track you, and the app contains no tracking or advertising software.
- We do not sell, share or transfer your information, because we never receive it.
- The app contains no third-party analytics, crash reporting or SDKs of any kind.
Deleting your data
Open Profile and choose Delete all my data. This erases every checklist, all history and your name from the device permanently. Deleting the app removes its storage as well. Because nothing is held anywhere else, no request to us is needed — and none is possible.
Children
Task Loop is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
